Two Anglo directors, Willie McAteer and Pat Whelan were found guilty of 10 counts of breaching Section 60 of the Companies Act 1963 by lending money to people to buy Anglo shares.

ANGLO EXECUTIVES PAT Whelan and Willie McAteer will be assessed for community service following their conviction for their roles in providing illegal loans totalling €450 million to 10 individuals. Judge Martin Nolan said that it would be ‘unjust’ to impose prison sentences on the Anglo pair.

What would happen to the ordinary citizens of Ireland if they fail to pay their water charges, tv license, or property tax?  Yes, JAIL, WHERE’S THE JUSTICE?
